BeautyScan (“we”) operates the website beautyscan.org, which provides AI-assisted facial-aesthetic analysis. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact privacy@beautyscan.org.
To produce your result we process a facial photograph that you provide (camera or upload), plus the numeric measurements and scores derived from it. We do not ask for your name, and accounts are not required.
Your image is processed in memory and then discarded. We never write the original photo to disk. We retain only the numeric scores and the written text of your result, and — if you purchase one — your report. Face-region thumbnails and the “outcome” visualisation are generated for your delivered report and are not retained on our servers by default.
Facial geometry (landmark detection and measurements) runs in your browser using MediaPipe. For that step your photo does not leave your device.
Some analysis steps send your photo to specialised AI processors. This only happens for the steps below, the image is transmitted for processing and not retained by us, and it is disclosed to you at the point it applies:
We have or will put in place a data-processing agreement with each named processor.
We process your facial image solely on the basis of your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and, to the extent applicable, Art. 9(2)(a)), which you give at the entry gate before any scan. You can withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.
The original image: not retained. Free-scan scores: short-lived and periodically purged. A purchased report: retained so you can access it from your private link; you may request its deletion at any time.
Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and you may object to processing or withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. To exercise any right, email privacy@beautyscan.org.
BeautyScan is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly process the data of minors.
We use only functional browser storage (e.g. remembering your chosen language). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Scores are subjective preference signals, not objective truth and not medical, psychological or surgical advice.
We may update this policy; the “last updated” date will change accordingly.
